IO Controls Appointed as BMS Partner at the Adelphi Building
IO Controls is pleased to announce its appointment as the BMS maintenance provider for the Adelphi Building — a Grade II listed landmark situated on the north bank of the Thames in central London.
This new contract strengthens our relationship with Jones FM, with whom we also collaborate at Chiswick Park, and further extends our portfolio of high-profile commercial properties.

The Adelphi Building is one of London’s most celebrated examples of Art Deco architecture. Originally completed in the 1930s, the building retains its Portland stone façade, sculptural bronze detailing, and iconic features by Gilbert Ledward — all of which contribute to its unique heritage status and cultural prominence.
Located near the Strand and overlooking the Thames, it remains a prestigious address for leading organisations in media, technology, and professional services.
Our Role at the Adelphi
Under the new agreement, IO Controls will provide:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of the building’s BMS
- Technical support and system tuning to optimise HVAC performance
- Responsive service to maintain occupant comfort and energy efficiency
- Lifecycle and upgrade advice to support long-term building performance
